MgIA provides dedicated assistance for passengers with special needs. Services are available from check-in to boarding to ensure that they have a smooth and comfortable journey. To facilitate this, trained staff are stationed at key checkpoints across the airport to offer guidance and support.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I request special assistance at MgIA?

Passengers need to pre-book a wheelchair service at the time of booking the ticket or contact the airline contact center to pre-book it. Additionally, passengers can reach out to our Information Desk available at both Departure and Arrival in case of any further assistance.

Are there facilities available if I am a passenger with reduced mobility or travelling with a family member with reduced mobility?

Yes, passengers can contact the wheelchair assistance desk at the Departure kerbside and our representative will coordinate with the respective airlines for the wheelchair service. We have also installed help phones which are available at the drop point at Departure for assistance.

Is pre-booking required for wheelchair services?

Yes, pre-booking is recommended to ensure availability. Contact the airline directly for requests.
