Kadri Shree Manjunatha Temple

Dedicated to Lord Manjunatha (Shiva), this ancient 10th-11th century temple on Kadri Hills boasts a rich history blending Hindu and Buddhist traditions. It features one of the oldest and most exquisite bronze idols of Lokeshwara (Avalokiteshvara) in India. The site also includes a natural spring called Gomukha, believed to be the Kashi Bhageerathi Theertha.

Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Kshetra

Consecrated by Sri Narayana Guru in 1912, this beautiful temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva as Gokarnanatha. It was established for the worship of the Billava community, who were historically excluded from other temples. The renovated temple, known for its intricate Dravidian architecture, is the main center for the vibrant "Mangaluru Dasara" celebrations.

St. Aloysius Chapel

Often called the 'Sistine Chapel of India,' this historic chapel, built in 1885, is renowned for its stunning fresco and oil paintings. The artworks, covering nearly all the walls and the ceiling, were painted by the Italian Jesuit artist Antonio Moscheni, depicting the lives of saints and Jesus Christ. It is a true architectural and artistic marvel.

Tannirbhavi Beach

A picturesque and relatively serene beach with golden sands, Tannirbhavi offers a quieter alternative to Panambur. It can be reached via a road route or a scenic ferry ride across the Gurupura river from Sultan Battery. The beach features the Tannirbhavi Tree Park and offers basic facilities for a relaxing visit.
